Insight Carolinas Participating at Charlotte Metro Out of the Darkness Walk on Saturday, November 1, 2025

You are Not Alone!

Insight Carolinas is proud to announce our participation in the Charlotte Metro Out of the Darkness Walk on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC).

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) “Out of the Darkness Walk” is a space to share stories of struggle and survival, a community of compassion, and a movement toward hope.

At Insight Carolinas, our mission is to support people where they are, with compassion, connection, and effective mental health care. Walking alongside others who have lived experience whether personally or as caregivers magnifies that connection. It reminds us that no one must face mental health challenges alone.

You don’t have to be an expert in mental health to make a difference. Sometimes the most powerful thing is simply being there. Whether you come to walk, to listen, to remember, or to support — your presence matters. Together we can build awareness, reduce isolation and shame, and foster safety and hope in our community.
